• Greetings from St. Thomas, where the sun always shines and travelers are on perpetual vacation. It’s on this magnificent island that I run my tour operating company, VI Scenic Tours.

    My name is Burlie Simeina (pictured center), and I’ve been in business for the past 10 years. I was born in St Lucia, but I’ve lived in St Thomas over 30 years. I have three sons and a daughter, who are eagerly looking forward to the day they can help mom with the business. I’m a Christian woman who loves life and my community. Some people say I’m a bit of a workaholic, but honestly, I just love what I do and I love making others happy. It’s such a good feeling!

    I have an Associates’ degree in Accounting, but my passion has always been travel and tourism, and a while back, I’ve even worked as a Travel Agent. I have a flair for assisting travel agents, since she knows first-hand all that is required in making sure customers’ vacations go smoothly. I’m passionate about health and fitness, and I maintain a positive attitude to stay healthy. I’m an avid shopper and a dog lover, and for my vacations, I come to the United States and visits places a bit cooler than St Thomas.
